If I want to learn something new, I prefer interactive online tutorials to plain text based manual. I'm sure the same must be the case with you!

Now the art of designing web-based/CD-based tutorials training materials is called Instructional Designer. The one who developes such e-learning materials is called an Instructional Designer.

The prime objective  of e-learning courses is to make learning intersting. So instructional designer do not just write. They actually visualize and think. They think of different ways to make a subject interesting to a learner.

You can think of becoming an intructional design if you:

-Are creative

-Have good visualization skills

-Look for innovation

-Think out of box

-Have good language skills

-Have an eye for detail

-Have good comprehension skills

-Have good communication skills

An instuctional designer's role is similar to that of a film maker. The only difference is that the film maker direct the movie and the instuctional designer directs the e-learning courses.
