# why you need learning objectives?

Learning Objectives helps both learners and instuctional designer in a number of ways.
to learners:
1. LO convey the learning value to learner
2. This motivates them to learn.
3. Keep LO in minds throughout the learning process.

to Instructional designs:
1. LO help them choose appropriate materials for the course.
2. Further helps in assessing learner perfermance at the end.

LO are oftern carelessly written. You need to remember that LO are not just statements. LO set the path for learning.

# The characters of effective LO
1. Short, clear and concise. (less than 15 words, specific task)
2. Measurable.(active verbs rather than passive verbs, explain,list, solve better than understand,feel etc. )
3. Has a task, condition* and criteria*
