注重UI的網頁設計

現在網頁設計師除了把頁面做的漂亮以外，越來越注重「用戶體驗」，就是要做「別讓用戶思考」的網頁，使網站真正做到「可用性」。望望結合幾年的工作經驗，粗談這方面的一些問題，和大家共勉！

 一、人們如何瀏覽網頁
首先本書說明了上網的人是如何瀏覽網頁的，這似乎跟我們想像有很大的差距，因為我 們覺得「用戶會盯著每個網頁，仔細閱讀我們精心製作的文字，領會我們頁面的組織方式」，事實上大部分時間用戶看網頁就像「高速公路看廣告牌一樣」，沒時間 仔細閱讀，當然也不會用心思考。因而，我們必須為「掃瞄」而設計。做到這點須注意以下幾點：
1、儘量符合用戶習慣的設計，讓人接受陌生的東西需要代價，除非我們覺得這個代價是必須的。
2、在頁面把越重要的東西越突出，建立清楚的視覺層次。
3、可以點擊的地方必須突出，讓人明顯知道...

挑战：将竖导航改成横的

CNN的设计师最近做了改版，将原来竖着排列的导航条改成了横排。但是这次只是主页上改动，内页的新闻页并没有改，所以我们可以看到横的导航和竖的导航的差别。

Here’s what their homepage looked like this recently:

And here’s what an interior page looked like:

主页的视觉重心发生了变化，从导航移动到了实际的内容。这种变化将让访问者的前五秒获得更重要的信息，更容易抓住用户的兴趣点。

在导航的位置变化中，设计师没有简单的移动。他们认真地处理了栏目，导航文字的提炼，摆放哪些栏目频道，位置的优先级。

今天在google的交互设计组讨论关于信息架构和uability的关系时，感觉自己对信息架构的理解简直是稀里哗啦，ok,上网来找点教程再好好学习一下，老实一点，把信息架构的概念一定要摆平咯

Jesse James Garrett's 因为最先把设计分解成一系列的层次和序列，受到广泛的推崇。对信息架构、交互设计和用户体验感兴趣的人都可以阅读一下。
Information Architecture: Blueprints for the web
Christina Wodtke一本写的非常清晰的入门书籍，从最基础的开始，Christina 还描绘了常见的问题，解决方法，工具。信息架构是一种策略，而不是一种原则，这本书让你变成设计思考者，能够处理各种难题。
Don't make me think
Steve Krug的这本书描述了创造一个有用的站点最重要的原则 ，Krug 谈到了常见的设计错误，会议如何进行，还有可用性测试。虽然很薄，但是却是一本很权威的介绍。covers common design mistakes, handling meetings, and usability testing. Though slim, an authoritative introduction to the subject.
The Design of Everyday Things
Don Norman这本书的中文早就出版了，叫《设计心理学》。讲的是人们怎么跟身边的事物交互，从门把手到咖啡壶的壶嘴，到计算机的界面，Norman讲述了一些通用的原则。

From ASIS&T 2006 Information Architecture Summit: Key Topics Survey Results, the topics attendees most want to hear about are

  1. Information Design
  2. Interaction Design

The author, Christina Wodtke said ,she was extremely pleased to see No.3  pop up. It's a definate sign the community is realizing they much reach higher, deeper to make a real difference.It is just what i think about.When can i turn my occupation from IA to strategic planning?
